Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

I really liked the first Sherlock movie. Something about Sherlock’s social ineptitude coupled with astute logical reasoning hits home with me. I certainly wouldn’t consider myself as perceptive as this fictional detective with his supreme powers of observation and deductive reasoning, but I certainly aspire to his character.

I think the casting for Sherlock and Watson is well… Spot on good chap. Robert Downey and Jude Law make one hell of a duo. The camerawork was also great, taking advantage of slow motion and quick zoomed in jump cuts to highlight the minutiae Sherlock was perceiving. All in all pretty entertaining and I have no complaints.

SPOILERS

Professor Moriarty is the mastermind behind a network of political assassinations and terrorist bombings, paving the road for World War. He purchased and stole arms and ammunition factories, positioning himself with supply on both sides of the conflict and is seeking the final spark to set Europe ablaze when Sherlock and Watson with the aid of a gypsy named Sim seek to disrupt his plans.
