Real Steel
In 2020, human boxers have been replaced by robot boxers. Real Steel is a 2011 American science fiction sports drama film starring Hugh Jackman. The film follows Charlie Kenton, a former boxer who owns a robot boxer called Ambush, competing in unsanctioned matches and in exhibitions with it.

Through his rotten luck and careless attitude Charlie loses his bot and accumulates a significant debt.
The struggling promoter / robot pilot thinks he’s may have found a champion capable of reversing his rotten luck in a discarded bot called Atom. During the bot’s rise to the fame, he rekindles his failed relationship with his 11-year-old son through the sport.
