I create artisticly styled custom designs for posters, brochures and print materials. My designs emphasize blending imagery and typography into a cohesive body of work. Creating a coherent piece requires a delicate balance of design elements. The effective communication of information must converge seamlessly with the aesthetic. Graphical elements must not only work visually with each other, but must reinforce the message. Only through this balance can the successful communication of an idea occur.

I have been working freelance as a graphic designer creating posters, business cards and all manner of print material for 8 years. At Elon University I worked for Creative Resolutions for three years designing posters and promotional material for on campus speakers and various events. I also completed: Digital Art I, Static Imaging, Adv. Static Imaging & Painting with the Computer while at Elon and have an extensive knowledge of design software including Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver & Illustrator.

Logo Design

I create unique brand identity for individuals, businesses, organizations, events and more. Brand logos are the identity of your company. They incorporate aesthetic elements of design and verbal language which must coalesce flawlessly. The combination of these elements into a uniform logo create an iconic representation of a company’s strengths and purpose. A logo must be able to function in varied sizes from business cards to billboards with or without color. Overly complicated logos are convaluted and the meaning is lost while basic logos are used by every other business and can be lost in the shuffle.

Apparel Design

T-Shirt graphics and other apparel design both freelance and for Hartstrings LLC.

I create apparel graphics and designs by combining artistic, imaginative imagery with client prerequisites resulting in a totally unique product. The gallery contains graphics and artwork for various clothing and clients both freelance and as a consultant. Most are children’s apparel graphics for Hartstrings LLC. in both Girls and Boys clothing lines.
